Description

Malus ‘Butterball’ is a fantastic feature-packed little Crab Apple tree. In spring, a profusion of pink buds emerge among mid-green foliage and open into white blossom that is sometimes flushed with pink. Colourful yellow Crab Apples develop, sometimes displaying hints of red. In autumn, the well-sized crab apples can be used for culinary purposes or left to adorn the tree into winter.

Ideal for gardens, Malus ‘Butterball’ will reach an expect a height and spread of 4 x 4 metres in 20 years. This Crab Apple variety has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit and can cope with most conditions in full sun.
